MyGym London Terms and Conditions

When you register with MyGym London you agree to the following terms and conditions of registration to our fitness community

  1. You must be able to produce valid proof of membership on each occasion you visit for a class or to use the gym if requested, or you may be refused entry.

  2. Your registration with us grants you access to PAYG (Pay As You Go) and membership packages, and your agreement to follow our MyGym London terms and conditions and ‘MyGym London Rules’.

  3. Membership is not valid unless you have uploaded a recent photograph of yourself in your profile area. This will help prevent fraud and misuse.

  4. Your membership is non-transferable, and you must not allow anyone else to use your membership to attend classes or the gym. If you allow your membership to be used by another person, your membership will be cancelled without any refund of fees.

  5. All bookings must be made in the name of the specified registered member and cannot be transferred between customers.

  6. The acceptance of your application to register with MyGym London constitutes a legally binding agreement between you as a member and the facility to abide by MyGym London rules, and terms and conditions.

  7. Your use of MyGym London and Bush Hill Park Primary School’s facilities is subject to your adherence to all facility rules and any rules pertaining to that facility or activity, including ‘MyGym London Rules’.

  8. The categories of membership following registration are PAYG, Monthly Memberships, and an Annual Membership for MyGym London usage within designated hours. All categories of membership and PAYG shall be subject to these terms and conditions of membership at all times.

  9. You must pay in advance for your monthly or annual membership package by Direct Debit. If paying by Direct Debit for a monthly membership, the finance contract will be for a minimum of SIX (6) months. Following this period of time, the Direct Debit instalments will continue to be withdrawn monthly unless written notice is received by email to info@mygymlondon.co.uk providing at least ONE (1) calendar month’s notice prior to any proposed termination date.

  10. If you lose your membership card, please inform MyGym London by emailing info@mygymlondon.co.uk requesting a replacement card and a fee of £5 will be charged.

  11. You may freeze your membership for exceptional circumstances or for medical reasons and this request should be put in writing to info@mygymlondon.co.uk with reasonable evidence provided. If you need to freeze your membership for any other reason this should be put in writing to info@mygymlondon.co.uk and a £10 freezing fee per month will be applied. Memberships can be frozen for a maximum of SIX (6) months and then will be reactivated.

  12. You may cancel a contracted membership if required by writing to info@mygymlondon.co.uk providing ONE (1) month’s notice.

  13. If you want to change your membership category, please email us at info@mygymlondon.co.uk explaining which new membership category you wish to be moved to, providing a minimum of 14 days’ notice.

  14. All activities and classes must be booked in advance online on our MyGym London website at www.mygymlondon.co.uk Depending on your membership type, some activities will be included and free of charge, and some will be chargeable if on a PAYG basis. All personal training session dates should be booked directly with your personal trainer, and your personal trainer will provide instructions of how to pay in advance for these.

  15. Once you book a class you will be expected to attend. If you make a booking and do not reschedule within the specified time frame, you may be barred from booking again for 3 days. You can reschedule a booking on the MyGym London website providing 24 hours’ notice of the class or session.

  16. All booking times for any activity must be adhered to. If a member is late to any activity they may be refused entry on health and safety grounds. For classes taken in a hall, you must check in no later than 5 minutes before the start of the class.

  17. MyGym London programmes may vary from day to day, and at various times be led by different instructors, and some activities may have restrictions in place e.g. women’s only sessions. You understand that this may restrict your use from time to time and that no refund or extension to your membership will be made.

  18. MyGym London may have reduced opening hours or days of closure during bank holidays. These changes do not permit a refund or reduction in fee.

  19. You may wish to upgrade or change your membership type where applicable. The upgrade fee would be required to be paid at the time of the upgrade.

  20. You must wear suitable attire for any activity you are taking part in, and tops must always be worn.

  21. You are not permitted to enter the facilities or take part in any activity whilst under the influence of alcohol, prescribed drugs which make you drowsy, or illegal drugs of any category. You are not permitted to smoke, vape or use e-cigarettes anywhere on the premises or the immediate vicinity on the school site.

  22. Our instructors, personal trainers, Site Supervisors, and any member of Bush Hill Primary School staff have the right to refuse admission or ask you or a member of your party to leave the premises at their discretion. Such action may be taken if you or a member of your party fails to observe any of the facility rules and conditions of use where appropriate in their opinion. This includes rude behaviour, raised voices, intimidating behaviour, and threats of verbal or physical abuse.

  23. If MyGym London puts into place a banning order, your membership will be terminated with immediate effect, and you will not receive a refund of any fees paid in relation to your membership or future classes already booked on a PAYG basis.

  24. Where reasonably possible, MyGym London will give 14 days’ notice of any activities, facilities or equipment that cannot be used. We will not refund any fees because of unavailability but will do our best to reopen MyGym London’s facilities as quickly as possible.

  25. As part of your registration with MyGym London, you are required to complete an Exercise Consent Form giving your consent to take part in activities provided. You should never exercise beyond your means and ability, and if you have any medical conditions that may affect your safety to exercise you should seek advice from your doctor before taking part in an activity.

  26. Should a member’s health or fitness alter during their membership period, it is their responsibility to inform their class instructor or personal trainer immediately.

  27. You should ensure your membership details are kept up to date and any changes should be emailed to

info@mygymlondon.co.uk immediately.

 29. These terms and conditions may be reviewed and altered at any time and if any changes are made, members will be alerted by email or on the MyGym London website.
